Summary
We created a series of digital experiences for the first CR7 Museum in Funchal, Madeira. After the success of the first version (more than 160.000 visitors last year), we were approached to improve the experience on a new space, much bigger and on a better location.
For the new CR7 Museum, we were able to reinvent our applications, make them bigger, faster, and create new ones, to give the Museum visitors an experience they’ll never forget. We also had an important role in planning the Museum layout, which allowed us to make the best possible use of space for an optimal interactive experience. We also took it further, by allowing visitors to print and take home with them a part of their visit.

Space Planning
For the new Museum, we have a better location and much more room for the digital experiences that made the first one so successful. We started thinking about ways to enhance the Museum experience by using digital and interactive applications.
CR7 AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCE
We improved the original experience with higher quality capture, a better
and more fluid interface and photo printing and sharing capabilities.
CR7 TROPHY EXPERIENCE
Using a postcard, visitors can now choose between three digital trophies, hold them in augmented reality and later print the photos.
CR7 TIMELINE EXPERIENCE
Through an interactive table, visitors can easily navigate through Cristiano's entire career on a timeline, and view key moments and videos.
MUSEUM COMMUNICATION
We've also created the Museum graphic communication, from the outdoor glasses to the interior and signage, together with graphic designer and illustrator Bruno Sousa.
